As a leading country in the global photovoltaic industry, China's photovoltaic industry has achieved rapid development in recent years. As a clean and renewable energy source, photovoltaic energy is of great significance in reducing the use of fossil energy, lowering carbon emissions, mitigating climate change and improving energy utilization efficiency, and China's photovoltaic industry has made significant contributions to the development of global clean energy and the world's energy transition. How to build a green and low-carbon supply chain system for the PV industry, realize the sustainable development of the PV industry, and promote the PV industry to high-quality development, has become one of the important topics explored in this forum, and focuses on the green supply chain construction of the PV industry, carbon emission reduction management and disclosure of information and other topics to be discussed. At the meeting, Lvse Jiangnan and IPE jointly released the “2024 PV Enterprises Green Low Carbon Supply Chain Evaluation Report” 2024 PV Enterprises Climate Action CATI Index Evaluation Results TOP 10. The first phase of the CATI index evaluation of PV companies' climate action covers 42 listed companies related to the PV industry. As a result of the first evaluation, LONGi Green Energy (601012), JinkoSolar (688223) and Atlas (688472) led the top three companies, while Trina Solar (688599), JA Solar (002459), Tongwei (600438), TCL Central (002129), Sunny Power (300274), GCL Tech (03800) and Xinyi Photovoltaic (00968) entered the TOP 10.

Mr. Jia Feng, former Director of the Mission and Education Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and Adjunct Professor of Peking University, Dr. Qu Xiaohua, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Atlas Solar Power Group and Academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and Mr. Zhou Zhou, President of the Alashan SEE Ecological Association, delivered wonderful speeches and expressed their best wishes for the success of this forum.

Dr. Shen Hui, Director of PV Specialized Committee of China Green Supply Chain Alliance and Director of Yangtze River Delta Solar Photovoltaic Technology Innovation, focused on the development of the PV industry and the challenges it faces, and Dr. Ahmad Mustafa, Director of the Representative Office of the League of Arab States in China, shared the prospects for cooperation between China and Arab countries in the photovoltaic energy market from the perspective of photovoltaic going to the sea. Dr. Yang Pingjian, Chief Scientist of the Management Center of the China Academy of Environmental Sciences, highlighted the Guidelines for Corporate Greenhouse Gas Information Disclosure and interacted with the guests.

With the acceleration of global warming and green transformation, PV clean energy is an important path to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. As an important development direction of global energy science and technology and industry, PV industry, faced with new opportunities and challenges, not only needs to make new breakthroughs in industrial upgrading, technological innovation, market development, etc., but also needs to be driven by the green brand of the whole industry. We are convinced that if China PV takes a small step forward, the world PV will take a big step forward.

This forum to industry-driven, brand-led way to further promote the healthy development of China's photovoltaic industry ecosystem, not only manufacturing green, but also to the direction of green manufacturing, but also the need for all sectors of society to work together, for China's photovoltaic industry to flourish, for the green transformation of global energy to make a greater contribution.
